What is a 'default Depth'?

A default depth is the default location where a resource is saved when you use the Depths browser extension. By default, every user has a default depth, which is where resources are saved unless you choose to save them to a different depth from the drop-down menu.

It's important to note that you cannot delete your default depth in any scenario. However, you can assign another depth to be your default depth if you wish. This means that any future resources you save using the browser extension will be saved to the newly designated default depth.

To summarise:

  • A default depth is the default location where a resource is saved when you use the Depths browser extension.

  • You can choose to save a resource to a different depth from the drop-down menu.

  • You cannot delete your default depth, but you can assign another depth to be your default depth.
